t all started on November 29, 2001. Maryann Longo and Lorraine Rizzo embarked on a venture that they had been talking about for years. Two life long friends going into business together. They were long time friends, going to the same grade school as children and then hanging out with the same crowd as they got older. They weren't related but many thought they looked and acted like sisters- and it was the truth. Amici's was in operation for alittle over two years and then with the death of Lorraine so went their dream.

But - now- AMICI IS BACK!!! In the place of Lorraine and Maryann, are two real sisters - Tracy Costa and Lynn Bova. They are the two who are taking their mother-Maryann's dream and making it into a reality. Maryann is still the hostess with the mostest. You can expect to find her at the door greeting each customer and then going over to share her stories and a glass of wine with them. Its were "Friends meet friends."

Amici's is back with the same top notch chef as when they first started- the famous Sonny. Sonny, Maryann, Lynn and Tracy have worked together for over fifteen years. Sonny's cooking is one notch above the normal Italian cooking. As one patron recently said-" I don't know what it is with his cooking but its something only Sonny does." Each and every dish is a true masterpiece- so beautiful to look at that you don't want to eat it but once you do- you can't get enough!! Sonny is the Picasso of food! Sonny is more than just a chef at Amicis, he is part of the family.

Richie Longo, Maryann's husband can normally be found indulging in the delicious dishes of Sonny. He prefers to let his "girls" run the restaurant while he enjoys dinner and then makes his way over to say Hello to the patrons. Come enjoy the delicious food prepared by Sonny and enjoy the warmth and welcome you feel from Richie, Maryann, Tracy and Lynn. You'll only want to come rushing back for more.
